In addition to live music, free refreshments and the chance to mingle with some of NYC’s up-and-coming artistic community, we will be holding a silent art auction.

Since this is a fundraising opportunity for our new space, the commission for each artist will be 50% of all sales.

I'm curating a show at the Brooklyn Artists Gym called Brooklyn 111 (that's one hundred and eleven years of Brooklyn History)... The questions the show asks are: "What has Brooklyn meant to you and your work? How does your work effect Brooklyn?

It's to be a fundraising show celebrating Brooklyn's history on October 18. The show will run through the 25th.

Submissions in the open call may be sent as low resolution jpegs s to: show@brooklynartistsgym.com
