As for me, I grew up in New Jersey. Went to school in Manhattan. studied illustration but never finished. I live in jersey city and i work at a gallery in brooklyn. Occasionally sell a picture or a design. Since December I've been staying with my parents because I broke my ankle from slipping on some ice. It was fun 4 weeks ago with pain killers and christmas toys but now it's go back to school and empty the dishwasher.

Poets are rob of there faith, painters of there eyes, just to keep the gruel satisfied.
With centuries of ballast they try to keep art down.
So artist paint yourself wings and take a flight into your dreams, no body will follow you there.
Here in no-one's land time have no meaning, and love is just as mystic as it is fertile and the border between life and death hazy.
It's a shelter for the lost soul and the free spirit, I will call it ' the Sacred Garden'.

I look frequently to your images, I think we have (artistic) a lot in common.

At 7:38pm on July 22, 2008, Evan said…: Funny you say that, i've been here a year and half and i'm starting to feel stuck, i still love this city but i feel like i haven't stopped running since i got here and don't have the time/money to even take a vacation. Also, before i moved here i traveled around the country, and spent a couple days in san francisco, its gorgeous and looked like it would be fun to live in. We may end up trading places in a few years. But for now, i go to the art institute of ny and will be here til next april which is too far away to really make any plans about. who knows how the world will be.
