Stranton like on the office. I'm sure no one ever says that to you right. Stomach bug doesn't sound so good. I wish you a speedy recovery. As for me, I grew up in New Jersey. Went to school in Manhattan. studied illustration but never finished. I live in jersey city and i work at a gallery in brooklyn. Occasionally sell a picture or a design. Since December I've been staying with my parents because I broke my ankle from slipping on some ice. It was fun 4 weeks ago with pain killers and christmas toys but now it's go back to school and empty the dishwasher.
The east coast is doing well I'd say. I'd love to be out there though. Are you from this region? Today was nothing but trouble in the tri state area, in fact weather man bill evans referred to it as a wintry mix for the day. just a little bit of everything unpleasant I guess but I got some work done and a belly full of daytime television.
as bizzare as it sounds I have a friend in Santa Fe whose work somewhat reminds of yours. If you need any support while you're there I'm sure she can help you hook up, just let me know and I'll introduce...
Hey Kristin congratulations, Isaw you'r now artist of the day.
It's an other fantastic work again, a bit disturbing perhaps.
Everything well with you?
All the best!
no, i was on facebook for a little when it first came out, but social networking kinda bothers me. i see its necessity, and actually increasing feel left out for not participating so i will probably cave soon.
Hello Kristin, here's a message from the Lowlands Art Swamp.
Slowly all the beauty sinks away into this treacherous quicksand of arrogant nonsense
Poets are rob of there faith, painters of there eyes, just to keep the gruel satisfied.
With centuries of ballast they try to keep art down.
So artist paint yourself wings and take a flight into your dreams, no body will follow you there.
Here in no-one's land time have no meaning, and love is just as mystic as it is fertile and the border between life and death hazy.
It's a shelter for the lost soul and the free spirit, I will call it ' the Sacred Garden'.
I look frequently to your images, I think we have (artistic) a lot in common.
Funny you say that, i've been here a year and half and i'm starting to feel stuck, i still love this city but i feel like i haven't stopped running since i got here and don't have the time/money to even take a vacation. Also, before i moved here i traveled around the country, and spent a couple days in san francisco, its gorgeous and looked like it would be fun to live in. We may end up trading places in a few years. But for now, i go to the art institute of ny and will be here til next april which is too far away to really make any plans about. who knows how the world will be.
Hi Kristin i'm o.k., it's already friday eve here in Europe.
After a day of painting and swimming i take a break and enjoy
the evening hours. Have a nice day! later!
I'm good, I just got home from biking around the city which i haven't done in far too long. I'm finally taking advantage of summer now that my vacation is over and I have to start school school again. How are you? And where are you, calling brooklyn home yet?
