We had a local neighborhoods "Spring Clean" on Saturday, I was chosen to paint all the trash cans, The local CDA (Community Development Association) had found a crew to help me from the Boys and Girls Club but they failed to show up.... So they hooked me up with a local group doing community service..... They were such a great group of people! (Thanks for all the help)!

They moved all the 300lb, concrete cans to our back parking lot.
The Fire Department came to spray them out for me, (nice guys).

I wasn't sure if I was going to finish all 21 cans in the allowed time, so I decided to have part of the work crew start cutting the stencils out that I hadn't had time to finish, the other half of the crew I had paint the background colors on the cans, I sprayed the stencils.

It was about 78 degrees out so I got a nice tomato red tone to my skin while working. The CDA feed us breakfast, lunch and LOTS of water, I painted in the sun all day! It was such a great day!
Although I'm burnt, sore and covered in paint...it's going down as one of my funniest days I've had!
I went back today and touched up a few cans, signed my name to them and took a few more pictures before the crew comes back and moves them all to their natural habitats along the streets!

Thanks to the CDA, the Great Work Crew and everyone else who helped out!
