I've let myself down

I could not create anything passionately spiritual last year.

Maybe thats what I needed to do, to step back for a while, and relax, rejuvenate.

But although I know I needed the break, it only dissapoints me to look at the outcomes, the final artworks of 2008.




There is maybe only one artwork that I can say is slightly spiritually connected to myself.

But other than that, what have I created?

I have created artworks that are, if not solely, mainly commercial, easy on the eyes, and other things that I personally wouldn't have liked to see as characteristics in my very own art.



What shall I do now?

I wish I had a solution.

But the journey to better connecting with my own art is the same as journey of life itself, so I cannot say anything for certain, since life is unpredictable.
