How to Live Fast in NYC
A recent walk around the Lower East Side led us to discover a great new shop with a flaming entrance called LIVE FAST NYC and met punky-cool owner Cecilia Anton who welcomed us with zombified Michael Jackson graphic tees and others with perfectly gritty Brooklyn imagery.
Next time you're in the LES, definitely drop by the shop and explore the basement gallery with its guardian, a punk mannequin crying black tears. When we were there, Live Fast was showing funky poster art in neon colors with enhanced trippiness provided by the gallery's checkered floor.
Check out the some pics below. Don't miss the eyeball hair clip, that Cecilia was gracious enough to model for us. On the way out we asked if she was working on any new silk-screen shirt ideas. She has a great one, but we can't say. Ask her this weekend - believe me you'd want the shirt.
