Hi All,
For those if you in NYC especially Brooklyn, i'll be doing a poetry reading using some of the art in the BWAC summer show, Art in Changing Perspectives as my muse. June 29 at 6:30 PM, at the Tea Lounge, 254 Court St. The art of Rita Wilmers opens with the artist present.
'The TV show Gossip Girl used one of her pieces in two early episodes and twenty-four of her paintings in a fictional gallery exhibtion for its December 5, 2007 episode. The use of her work on TV was a subject of a New York Post article.'

I will be doing a special reading at the Society for the Art of Imagination's show at Interart Gallery, 225 Tenth Ave. btwn W 23 & W 24 Sts. at 7:15 PM SHARP for 15-25 minutes.
