I’ve been DXArmy for about 5 years, since the day I met Calamity on the UWS. These guys exactly what the NYC/global creative scene (music, hip hop & beyond) needs. You’d have to chill with them to realize how authentic they are as individuals, partners, and friends. Whether they’re tagging walls or writing page…

Artist Statement:
“Our Book of Common Faith” is comprised of works done between 2000 & 2008. These mixed media pieces, usually start with a water-soluble oil pastel base and then branch out from there. Humming can be like chanting, an almost unconscious form of meditation. With lips pressed together, sound vibrating on the tender skin, the head becomes filled with resonance, and there is a sense of echoing amid the canyons of cavities within the skull. I'm recommending this one to you all! And there is only 4 days left to see the show! "The Generational: Younger Than Jesus", up at the New Museum. Definitely worth seeing! I caught it last month and left with an extra dose of inspiration which I then ran home with to quickly use up.......

Barack Obama: Three Yellow Roses On a Grey Day (Satis Shroff)
It was a grey, cold day and a frosty wind blew at the Buchenwald concentration camp, near Weimar. The 44th US Prisident Barack Obama, Elie Wiesel, Bertrand Herz, Angela Merkel and their selected entourage went through the gate which carried the words: Jedem das Seine.
In this concentration camp alone 56,000 people were killed by the Nazis, not to speak of Auschwitz, Amersfoort, Warsaw and elsewhere. It was at 3:15 on Ap…
