Living in New York is hard work. I have two jobs, and I still can't make my rent. And that's in Brooklyn. I've had a few commissions this year, but still I can't catch up. Freelance work has gone the way of the dodo, more or less. And I have (mercifully) more or less aged out of the restaurant business, both in terms of the impact on my body, and due to the tacit ageism that is discreetly practiced in the industry. I have received an invitation by a certain Gallery Gora in Montreal, which is very nice and flattering, but I'm having some doubts that it might be a rip off. Does anyone here know about this place or even heard of it??
