How do you use your power?
Do you use it to help and empower others?
Or do you use it as a means to fulfill your own desires?

Are you calm in the midst of chaos?
Do you take a step back to get a clearer view?
Or do you participate in the mayhem igniting more fires of intolerance for others?

Do you mediate or meddle?
Or do you know the difference?
If not do you know enough to back away when
interference spreads the disease of
miscommunication.?

I wonder what I do when the world relies us to unite in the human cause.
Do I know there is no such thing as us against them?
Or being an animal by nature do I attack when I am in fear?
Instead of reaching out with peace because we are all in this together?

Proposition 8 protestors were attacked yesterday, something needs to be done! Electing President Obama was a change in the right direction. However, the hate needs to stop! Everyone should have the right to marry and adopt. There are going to be protest everywhere. Gay or straight we all need to come together and end the hate.
