I love the photo of the boy. It is really strong. The boy is looking straight forward, yet there are so lines going on. I Like the v of his collar /neck line with the back ground.
In addition to what was said below: the boy seems to be rising; pushed down by the "V's" in the background--which adds to a heightened sense of "being caught in the act."
