I'm really into ceramics, and plan on opening a studio once i get my teaching degree in Art. But it is by far my favorite medium of art, and i hope that next semester i'll be able to take college ceramics classes.

Hi Taaj,
I usually use watercolors and sometimes guache.
When I use watercolor, I paint layers of color, usually starting with a light tone. I put a wash of light color down first and then paint other colors on top so you can see through the layers. Hope this helps. Linda

hey taaj-
i currently use water soluble oils. they're great (especially if you're a painter in nyc where your studio just might be also your bedroom). they dont smell, are almost identical to real oils in consistency and application, and clean-up with water-so, no brain-cell killing aromas.
