I would like to say that I have painted before, but I prefer drawing. There wasn't a drawing delection so I picked a painter. All my pictures of are drawings w/ some charcoal.
Patti was born in Chicago, IL. She and her family moved to San Diego, California when she was a young child. It is there she found her love of art. Self-taught at the age of 8, her drawings are of pencil and charcoal. Her passion to pick up a pencil and capture the moment of life, and create a memory. A feeling of a picture, a drawing, a painting is the beauty of what your mind wants it to be. Seeing the world as an art of imagination. A mountaintop layered with snow. The sun as it settles behind the sea. The rising of a full moon. A wild flower sprouting for the first time. A small boy picking up a ball as he looks up at you. Remembering him in your mind. A bird as he sings his song in a tree, imaging him on paper. The world is filled with inspiration to pick up a pencil, paint brush and start a masterpiece. As you see it soothe the soul.
