Which of the following best describe you?
Illustrator, Painter, Professional Creative, Photographer, Sculptor, Performance artist, Other, Graphic Designer, Art enthusiast
How often are you the first among your friends to try something new?
All the time
What do you want people to know most about you?
I want people to know the different mediums in which I can get my message across. I am not subscribing to just a particular medium as the way in which to render my work.

I work in different mediums simultaneously, mixed media, 3-d design and so forth. I usually do preliminaries in some cases in various mediums to study the different possibilities that a visual idea could be developed. I use the “Claude Monet’s Syndrome”, a term I made up to describe the creative process in which one similar image or various images can be repeated using different tones and color lights. Monet painted the cathedral of Rouen over 20 times in different colors and weather tone conditions.
With the help of Photshop, one can digitalized one image and make many color variations of it without having to repeated the same tedious process done by Claude Monet. The image can be printed and work over creating a whole new work of art! Using light modeling paste you can add transparent texture making a total different thing.

I am a multi-media artist who uses every possible resource to create a work of art. I work in just about any traditional media.
I use all the knowledge and skills I have acquired in traditional techniques and do apply them, exploring not only the technical aspect but also the psychological one as well.

I also make digital version of my work, by using my own drawings and paintings, I can get interesting enhancements by adding elements from different other works. I use Photo shop, Painter's and Maya to give enhancements to new visual ideas, which are printed on either canvas or paper creating totally new works. I have been experimenting with the digital media since 1993.
My work is the influence of a number of art schools and movements. In recent years my style is a combination of realist’s ideas with abstract and expressionist concepts.

Julia
