At 11:43am on August 8, 2009, Miguel Conesa Osuna said…: I use both, hand rendering and combine computer as well. I begun by using my own traditional rendered images and bringing them in to the software and making changes to the original, creating variations and even discovering new features to one form. It is very much like Claude Monet did, repeating one same or similar image with changes of color, light and texture, like he did to the Cathedral of Rouen, which he painted over 20 times under different weather and atmospheric conditions. The digital media allows me not only to achieve beyond that, but also to add new elements from either other paintings or creating some new ones using the software. This I have called the Claude Monet syndrome and I have a video I explaining my concept. I go beyond the digital media because of my drawing and painting skills. The digital media is a compliment that allows me to explore more possibilities than what meet the eyes.
