American Art

In response to the previous post, I am truthfully astounded. American Art has not shown any real significant development since Marcel Duchamp exhibited a urinal at the Armory show, was it 1920? Since then everyone has been falling over each other to figure out what else we could put up there. Well, sure there was Pollock and the Abstract Expressionists, but that flame was quickly extinguished by Warhol and Pop, the tamer, more acceptable version of Duchamp.
