My opinion? They are all the rage, taking over the market at this point. Someone saw one of my pieces and they were very complimentary till they found out that it was all done with acrylic. I guess that it wasn't as special since it was all one medium and evrything was "simulated" with technique. I have a real hard time understanding just what people are considering mixed media. Everybody has some different opinion. I do some works with pen and ink and use enamels to creat an overall shade effect and texture. But I am told this does not qualify. I guess that I ruffled feathers asking. You have my opinion, but can someone educate me on what the deal is?
