Dear Artists, i want to share some usefull informations with you. I am an artist too but first of all I am an entrepreneur. It's a key issue to sell and market the art you produce at least for proffessional artists. One of the most succesfull way to market your art is SEM - Search Engine Marketing. Getting hight on search engines with a keyword "painting" is very hard becouse there are 127 000 000 other websites indexed under this keyword. The best method to get very high position on search engines is our actual issue - Link popularity. Link popularity is one of the most important factors by optimizing your website and means as much as the amount of external websites that contains link to your own website. The more websites links to your website, the higher your websites link popularity is. One of the good ways to increase easily your link popularity is publishing your website link in web directories. yes, I agree: to getting high on search engines with a keyword "painting" is very hard because there are a lot of websites indexed with this keyword. ... Important also is the fact of SMO - Social Media Optimization - using social networks like Ning, facebook, MySpace ... - in Germany StudiVZ and others. Blog Post with special tags and hyperlinks to your website - not only to the main page. Also to some other pages of your homepage ... or for me in fact to different pages of my network. ... by the way spread the words from your network contributions to other spaces in the world wide web and link pages - make connection to related contents. One example - I am using YouTube - the video content is mostly the same but I edit the video with different descriptions. The title of a video ... and the TAGS. It is interessting to see which various results I have on YouTube - what are the related videos for my videos. ... But it is a very complexe topic - ... good to have this group here and also this http://www.beyourart.com/group/internetmarketing to learn about and can share my knowledge here and there.; ▶ Reply to This

Since people want to see art visually online and it is going to be next to impossible to beat out 127,000,000 searches. Once you create a viral MP4 movie you can submit it to many video search engines and then it can take on a life of its own. You will notice that many of these video networks have a symbiotic relationship. You will find that Revver is connected to AOL video and VEOH.; ▶ Reply to This
