Brooklyn Art Project

Hi guys, new to the board and I thought I'd start a discussion on here about what counts as "art". It's prolly been asked a million times before, but I'm just wondering what you consider for the definition.

Myself, I think it can be any form of expression you put together and share with others. Poems, music, drawings, paintings, a joke, whatever. As long as you are expressing your feelings (or even lack thereof) in a piece, then it's art.

I wonder what you guys think of 2d vector art specifically. I go online and look at art sites all the time and see a lot of crazy detailed works, and even when I look for computer art specifically, it always seems like the more detail the better. I've always been a fan of looking at art like that, but I've always enjoyed making the more flat, 2D vector art. So where do you think vector stands in the art world?

Glad to be here,

Mike
